Learn what bivalves really bring to the table in our next Lifelong Learning Talks on Tap: (Aqua)culture Shock on Tuesday, February 11, from 6pm-8pm at Holy City Brewing!

Believe it or not, oysters have lots of taste and a shocking amount of raw talent for stabilizing shorelines, filtering water, sheltering sea life and sustaining Lowcountry livelihoods! Enjoy an oyster shucking demo followed by a panel discussion featuring a variety of aquaculture aficionados — chefs, biologists, farmers, conservationists and more — to help you pry open the shell of your own oyster knowledge! Tickets are $10 general admission and $5 per Aquarium member; light bites, one drink ticket and one complimentary oyster shucker are included.
