Lifelong Learning Talks on Tap: Walk on the Wild Side of Forensics

When violations and crimes occur on the water, who helps resolve them? From the shark fin trade and ivory identification to seafood mislabeling and protection of at-risk species, wildlife forensics plays a vital role in enforcing environmental rules and regulations to protect our oceans. As part of Lifelong Learning Talks on Tap, hear from Kathy Moore, forensic scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as she recounts 20 years' worth of experience applying science to solve crimes on the water. Member tickets are $5 and general admission tickets are $10; events will include light bites, beer and wine.
