Event Details

The Exhibition, “ONCE UPON A SEASON” curated at Lowcountry Artists Gallery, is a solo show presenting Pat Puckett’s most recent body of work in oils dedicated to the art of visual storytelling with vivid color, creative compositions and emotional context.

Each painting in this stunning collection captures a unique glimpse of the Lowcountry’s subtle seasonal transitions, Spring’s resurgence of greens, hot humid summers along the shoreline, salt marsh grasses shifting from green to gold and Winter’s arrival of cooler temperatures signifying oyster season.

Artist Statement: “There is a special allure in bodies of water and openness of space that draws me. The beautiful ocean, rivers and salt marshes that have surrounded me all my life have become my muse, and I love painting them in various seasons”.
