Charleston Wine + Food announces its first-ever concert series, NightCap, two music-flavored evenings that will welcome headliners sure to draw the crowds. The Main Stage will host new and emerging talent all weekend at Culinary Village, as well as three established acts in the evenings.

On Friday, March 4 high energy, late-night TV favorites Lake Street Dive will headline Charleston Wine + Food's first-ever concert series. On Saturday, March 5, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, the Southern soul phenoms out of Birmingham, AL, will co-headline with Grammy-nominated Tank and The Bangas with their New Orleans Rock/R&B/Soul vibe. Libations and food (with a Charleston Wine + Food spin, of course) will be available for purchase both evenings.

These new and exciting nighttime events are a benefit of the festival's growth and expanded programming. The March 2-6, 2022 festival's Culinary Village will take over Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Offering plenty of room to roam, Riverfront Park also provides abundant free parking, convenient access to regional highway systems, and proximity to the popular Park Circle neighborhood. Organizers note that the majority of festival programming remains focused in and around the Charleston peninsula.

"Music has always been a part of the festival, and we are excited that our new location allows us to spotlight internationally recognized performing acts,"; said Gillian Zettler, executive director of Charleston Wine + Food. "In my opinion, you can't talk about food without talking about music too. The two go so well together and build community."

Friday, March 4
"Lake Street Dive brings its acclaimed sound influenced by pop, rock, R&B and jazz into one energetic, cohesive show. Born at Boston's New England Conservatory, the quintet tours extensively and has been celebrated widely for their versatility, especially on their latest album, "Obviously.'

Saturday, March 5
"St. Paul & the Broken Bones is celebrated for its high-energy live shows and this eight-piece band's top recordings include "Flow with It (You Got Me Feeling Like)" and "Call Me." The band's next full-length album will be released in 2022. The band is currently touring in the U.S. and will kick off a U.K. and Europe tour in early 2022.

2020 Grammy Awards Best New Artist nominee, Tank and The Bangas, is known for songs like "Quick" and 'Nice Things". The band will open the show with their New Orleans Rock/R&B/Soul vibe.

Tickets are priced at $85 for general admission and $135 for VIP (both events are 21 and over, in keeping with festival policies).

The festival will take place March 2-6 2022 and the full schedule is now live at chswf.com, revealing nearly 110 special events in and around greater Charleston. Online ticket sales launched October 21 and offerings are still available. Ticket buyers are encouraged to visit the website for full details of the event's policies and protocols related to COVID-19.
