To celebrate the announcement of the 2025 MOJA Arts Festival schedule of headline events, the City of Charleston’s Community Services Section is hosting a family-friendly block party on Thursday, June 19th from 6pm-9pm on Ann Street (between King and Meeting Streets) in Downtown Charleston.
MOJA x Juneteenth will feature outdoor dining, live music, dancing, and artisan and crafts vendors. The festive free-to-attend celebration will have a music stage on Ann Street near the Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed, hosting Charles Grant’s The Legacy of Motown Band. Additional entertainment includes Harambee Dance Company and Deninufay African Drum and Dance.
This block party will kick off promotion and advance booking for the 2025 MOJA Arts Festival, a celebration of African American and Caribbean arts.
The 2025 MOJA Arts Festival runs September 25 to October 5 in Charleston, SC.
