Lowcountry Juneteenth Week

As the Official Juneteenth Festival of the Lowcountry, the Lowcountry Juneteenth Week celebration highlights the legacy of the African-American and Gullah experience to ethnically diverse audiences through education and entertainment all week. Virtual events will include subject matters in Law, Real Estate, Financial Matters, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, The Music Business and more. The festival offers something for all ages to enjoy. Explore the Lowcountry by attending the celebration's host of events, live performances, seminars, workshops, exhibits and more. Events include but not limited to..........

Saturday June 12th 1pm-5pm
Kid's Day
Join local non profits Acts of Kindness USA and Every 1 Voice Matters for a day of learning and fun. Children that attend will learn more about Juneteenth and it's importance. The event will feature live music, cultural activities like making the popular Palmetto Rose from sweet grass, face painting, field day activities, a special visit from Every 1 Voice Matter's Lil Herbie and more. The event will take place at Park Circle.

Tuesday June 15th 6pm-10pm
A Culinary Experience with Celebrity Chef Carlos Brown
The experience will boast an elegant 5 course meal including wine pairings The event will feature live music to take place @ Founder's Hall at Charlestowne Landing.

Wednesday June 16th 6pm-9pm
Unified Bible Study
Come feed your spirit with a panel of some of Charleston's Biblical Scholars. The worship service will include a live concert and discussion panel to take place at the First Baptist Church of James Island.

Thursday June 17th 8pm
The ZD Experience presents Sweet Love: A Tribute to Anita Baker featuring Black Diamond & Friends
You don't want to miss this tribute to one of the most powerful R&B songbirds of our time to take place @ Charleston Music Hall

Saturday June 19th 8am-1pm
Mu Alpha of Omega Psi Phi Golf Tournament
Help us to support college scholarship and community programs. Your donation will also help support our boys’ summer camp. The camp helps young men to develop a sense of independence while building lifelong skills. It teaches teamwork, resiliency along with building confidence and friendship. The tournament will take place at Berkeley Country Club.

Saturday June 19th 2pm-11pm
Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival
Join us for the biggest celebration of summer! The Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival! The family affair will feature children’s activities, food trucks, vendors, performances, fireworks, and a live concert featuring Tony! Toni! Tone!, Raheem DeVaughn, Lacee, Lebrado, Joe Nice and more. The family day of fun will take place at The Bend, a breathtaking waterfront venue located in beautiful North Charleston.

Father's Day Comedy Show
Come celebrate Father's Day. Laugh Out Loud with your favorite guy and enjoy some great food. The event will take place at The Ritz in North Charleston.
