Are you a hopeless romantic? Join the Charleston Jazz Orchestra and director Robert Lewis for an evening of timeless love songs as they present Love Supreme. This beautifully curated selection of jazz standards is arranged in the full splendor of the big band sound and will showcase the vocal talents of Heather Rice and Tommy Brown Jr.
As hinted in the show’s title, the performance will feature a special piece entitled “Acknowledgement” from John Coltrane’s masterpiece album, A Love Supreme, a work inspired by Coltrane’s journey from addiction to spiritual revelation. Event starts at 5pm.
