This popular annual event showcases the many skills practiced by enslaved and free people throughout the Low Country’s long rich history. Interpreters and volunteers will demonstrate skills including carpentry, blacksmithing, pottery, laundry, cooking, cane pressing, indigo dyeing, and candle making. In addition, historic practices of agriculture and animal husbandry will also be presented. Included with general admission and free for Middleton Place members.
