CJO Season 12 continues with Trumpet Legends

In early days of jazz, the majestic and astounding trumpet reigned and was the natural leader of the band - trumpet was king. Before the shift to the saxophone as the dominant instrument of jazz, musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis, to name a few, put the trumpet in the spotlight. For this performance, your Charleston Jazz Orchestra will feature members of its trumpet section as we pay homage to the Trumpet Legends who shaped its sound.

Live at Firefly: Friday, September 18 at 6:00pm (Doors at 5pm)
Live at Firefly ticket - $30

A limited number of tickets are available for Trumpet Legends Live at Firefly. Must have a previously purchased ticket for the Groovin' High performance originally scheduled for 9/12 at the Charleston Music Hall or purchase a Live at Firefly ticket for entry.

BONUS: Includes access to the virtual performance which will be available for all ticket holders for the rest of the year.

ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
-Bring your own chair/blanket
-Wear a mask while moving around Firefly grounds
-Sit at least 6 feet from each other (besides members from the same household)
-No outside food or drink permitted
-Recommended - We will have bug spray and hand sanitizer but it is recommended you bring some of your own.

Please note, this concert will only be performed once at 6pm (whether you have tickets to our usual 5pm or 8pm show, your ticket will give you access to the 6pm show). Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 6pm.

Food truck snacks, Firefly cocktails and other beverages will be available for sale.

This performance will also continue to be available virtually for all ticket holders.
