To celebrate the announcement of the MOJA Arts Festival's 40th Anniversary season, the City of Charleston’s Community Services Section is hosting a family-friendly block party on Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00-9:00 pm on King & Ann Streets Downtown.
Juneteenth on King will feature outdoor dining, live music, dancing, and artisan and crafts vendors. The festive celebration will have a music stage on Ann Street near the Visitor’s Center garage, hosting performers like The Legacy of Motown Band and Deninufay African Drum and Dance.
This block party will kick off the 40th Anniversary season of the MOJA Arts Festival, a celebration of African American and Caribbean arts.
