Johns Island Concert Series

Charleston County Parks is bringing a new nighttime concert series to Johns Island County Park this spring and summer!

Relax and enjoy the vast open field as you take in some live music and great food truck fare.

On May 1, bring your dancing shoes and shag the night away with Vinyl Daze. If laid back is more your style, you can take in the mellow sounds of Mystic Vibrations on June 5. Then get ready to boogie with Motown band The Legacy on July 10. A variety of food trucks will also be available at each concert with a wide selection of food to purchase.

Concert-goers must register in advance, and a 10x10 square will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis upon arrival. The $60 admission cost allows no more than 4 people per square. Guests must arrive together, as each vehicle must have a ticket for entry. We ask that guests remain in their square to dance as there will be no dance floor on site.

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, tables, etc. to be used at their square, but should be prepared to carry these items from their vehicle.

Outside food, alcohol, coolers, tents and umbrellas will not be permitted. Pets will not be allowed. Masks are required during the event unless eating or drinking. Masks must also be worn when interacting with staff, or when travelling outside of the group’s square. Safety is a priority; staff and volunteers will also wear proper PPE. Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be available on site.

Gates open at 6 p.m. for each concert and music will run from 7 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Johns Island County Park is located at 2662 Mullet Hall Road, just off River Road. The park sits on 738 acres and offers miles of trails for runners, walkers and equestrians. During normal park hours, an archery range and disc golf course are also available.
