Event Details

The 26th annual James Island Connector Run (8K and 5K) takes place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Folly Road and James Island Expressway entrance, located on James Island.

Presented by the Charleston Running Club, the James Island Connector Run provides one of the most scenic race routes in the Southeast. Overlooking the beautiful Ashley River and the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston, this 8K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk cross the James Island Connector beginning and ending on James Island.

Registration includes a chip-timed 8K run or 5K run/walk, finisher’s medals for ALL runners and walkers, a long-sleeved lightweight hoodie, running socks, and refreshments.

On the day of the event, free parking is available at the base of the connector, as well as with our official parking partner, Lowes of James Island, located at 770 Daniel Ellis Drive.
