Home School History Day: Feathered Friends

Feathers are a characteristic unique to birds. Investigate the skeletal structures of birds to understand how they adapted to their habitats. Students will handle feathers, wings, nests, and eggs to better understand and appreciate these beautiful animals.

The third Friday of every month, from 10 - 11 am, the Museum offers a special program for home schooling families. These programs feature one of our field trip classes, a chance to go through the Museum, and an activity. Reservations recommended.

FREE for Museum members and FREE with admission.
