Zoe spent last year out West attending graduate school for classical violin. After long days of disciplined lessons and practice, she would spend her nights freely songwriting. She started compiling harmonies and melodies with a "classical mind" but also a rock n' roll and old-country aesthetic showcasing the influence of favorites like JS Bach, The Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. She returned to Charleston this year under stage name, Zoe Child, where she began producing an album with SUSTO's Corey Campbell. Her EP, entitled "Someplace Golden" was just released in April and was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer, Vlado Meller at Truphonic Studios. Other Charleston talent are featured on the album such as drummers, Marshall Hudson from SUSTO and Julius DeAngelis from The High Divers. Her songs evoke a 1970's witchy-woman sound with strong vocal melodies, lush instrumentation, and vulnerable storytelling.

The Lowhills are an Americana/Roots Family band out of Johns Island with a sound that is a smooth mix of genres including Americana, Classic Country, Bluegrass, Swing and R&B.
The band members include Husband wife duo Matt and Lauren Bevins Cahill and lifelong friend and musical partner Joe Marlow.
Lauren Bevins fronts the band with smooth Norah Jones/Diana Krall esque vocals and plays Mandolin and guitar. Raised just outside of Charleston she made a name for herself around town playing with various local bands and writing and performing as a solo singer/songwriter. She feels she has really found her home with The Lowhills.

Joe Marlow is the primary songwriter for the group, a multi-instrumentalist he is most proficient and impressive on guitar. Joe and Matt Cahill (upright bass, drums, harmonica and vocals) grew up together in Nashville as kids playing music together in school talent shows and gigs around town and as young adults in a rock band called The Tips opening up for big name bands like Foreigner.

The Lowhills have had the great pleasure to open up shows and share the stage with virtuoso acts like Tommy Emmanuel and legends like classic country queen Loretta Lynn.

The Marshgrass Mamas are a bevy of Johns Island musical gals. The roots of their music stem from traditional bluegrass and Appalachian old-time, but over the decades the sound has morphed into a unique sound of their own. Band members consist of Cary Ann Hearst pickin' the lead guitar, Kristen Meierer thumping the doghouse bass, Dee Payne wailing on the banjo, Gina Perez and Chandler Marburg sawing on the fiddles, and Lauren Bevins Cahill putting the chop on the mandolin. Beautiful harmonies mixed with ridiculousness are sure to melt your heart and keep you around for more. The Marshgrass Mamas are known for being entertaining on stage while stomping out their own signature sound.
