From 11:30am - 4:30pm the City of Isle of Palms will be hosting an eclipse viewing event on Front Beach. Leading up to the eclipse there will be out-of-this-world music by DJ NattyHeavy on the beach behind the Windjammer. Plane Jane will take the stage following the eclipse to celebrate this incredibly rare event. Children's entertainment will be available in the Isle of Palms County Park and eclipse information will be provided throughout the event. A limited supply of eclipse glasses will be available to those that attend. Please be advised to wear plenty of sunscreen, protect your eyes and stay hydrated while enjoying your time on the beach.
