Gay Bingo is back this summer at a new venue. This year's theme is the Mad Hatter's Ball, and costumes are encouraged. Patti O'Furniture returns as the event hostess, ready to call out bingo numbers and keep the audience entertained. And bingo winners will be treated to fabulous prize packages valued in the hundreds of dollars each. Food will be available for purchase along with a cash bar will be available. Gay Bingo benefits Palmetto Community Care in its working helping those living with HIV in the Charleston region while providing free HIV testing, education and prevention resources.
The event is 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 at the Charleston Convention Center. Tickets: $50 general admission; $75 VIP.
