The highly-anticipated novel reimagines The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, told from the enslaved Jim’s perspective, and follows him as he uses his agency and intelligence to escape.

Percival Everett is the award-winning author of several novels, including The Trees, Erasure, and Telephone. He was a Booker Prize shortlist finalist for The Trees and a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Telephone. Everett’s novel Erasure was adapted into the Academy Award-winning film American Fiction.
