The 6th annual Follypalooza will take place on Center Street in Folly Beach. This annual street festival takes place every year to help raise money for locals inflicted with cancer.
In 2008, DJ Rich of Planet Follywood and others started, Follypalooza, when a local restaurant owner was diagnosed with cancer.
Over the last five years, Follypalooza has raised over $25,000 to help local cancer patients.
This year’s event will take place from 11:00am – 5:00pm on Center Street and feature live music, jump castles, bungee jousting, food and art vendors and much more. The live music line-up includes: Sun Dried Vibes, Calhoun’s Calling (led by cancer survivor, Nathan Calhoun), BYOG and Don’t Mess with the Tiger.
Admission into the event is free and tickets will be sold on Center Street for the games and other activities. For more information, please visit the Facebook page at Follypalooza.
