The Plantation Singers, one of the Southeast's most acclaimed a cappella groups, will bring their vibrant performances of Gullah spirituals to The Charleston Festival. Known for their soulful and powerful renditions of sea island spirituals, the group celebrates Charleston’s rich Gullah Geechee culture and traditions. Guests will have two opportunities to experience this remarkable performance, both held at the historic First Baptist Church on Church Street. Founded in 1682, this church, a cornerstone of Charleston’s religious history, provides a stunning and acoustically rich setting for this extraordinary musical experience.
