Fall Festival at Freshfields Village

Freshfields Village, located at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, will host a two-day festival on October 6 and 7 to celebrate the fall season.

On Friday, October 6 from 6 to 9 p.m., the weekend kicks off with a special edition of the "Music on the Green" concert series, featuring South Carolina top hits band The Sugarbees. Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets to enjoy this complimentary concert.

The festivities continue Saturday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a lineup of fun, free activities for the whole family. Enjoy live music by Charleston duo Gracious Day as you browse the Village's fall Farmer's Market, featuring seasonal goods and produce. In addition, the Seabrook Island Artist Guild will host an art show and sale during the event.

Kids will enjoy complimentary face painting by Cupcake the Clown, specialty balloons from Carol's Balloon Art, inflatable games from Charleston Fun Factory, fall crafts and a meet and greet with the St. Johns Fire Department.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of local vendors, including beer and wine from FortyEight - A Wine Bar. For more information about the festival, please visit the Freshfields Village website at www.freshfieldsvillage.com.
