FRESHFIELDS VILLAGE CELEBRATES FURRY FRIENDS WITH DOGTOBERFEST
Guests will enjoy "Dogs, Dine & Wine" on the Village Green

Freshfields Village, located at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, will host Dogtoberfest on Saturday, October 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. to benefit pet rescue organizations in the Lowcountry.

The festival, now in its eleventh year, will feature meet-and-greets with local rescue groups, a wine tasting from FortyEight - A Wine Bar, craft beer from Low Tide Brewing, live entertainment and exciting giveaways, including a three-night stay in an oceanfront villa.

Guests are encouraged to bring their dogs out to enjoy the festivities, enter in a pet costume contest at 3 p.m. and participate in a "blessing of the animals." On-site vendors will provide food for purchase during the event.

All of Dogtoberfest's proceeds will go to participating pet rescue organizations, including Shih Tzus and Furbabies, Grateful Goldens Rescue, Greyhound Pets of America Charleston, Carolina Coonhound Rescue, Water's Edge Animal Rescue, Lowcountry Lab Rescue and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Rescue.
