Society spins narratives around earth and nature. Earth is a storehouse of raw material, sewer for our waste, garden for tending, and sacred temple; nature is an entertainment destination, savage instinct, pretty greeting card, and catastrophic threat. Increasingly, we're confounded by an environment gone awry: climate change, ocean acidification, species extinction, a global fresh water shortage, and more. What's topping headlines is "nature is a problem" and this adds to our individual and collective experience of fear, anger, and hopelessness.
Embracing earth as ally and teacher, you will step into your great inheritance as a child of Mother Earth. Plus, you will take hold of your thoughts, feelings, and relationships with ever-deepening levels of humility, harmony, fearlessness, joy, and hope.
Friday, November 18 | We will arrive, connect, and learn from one another as Heather shares her spiritual voyage with the Great Atlantic, leads the group in an embodied Earth Practice, and creates a container for our strong emotions and deepest aspirations.
Saturday, November 19 | We will separate from society's misperceptions and dysfunction to embark on a personal voyage toward well-being through directed time in nature, guided meditation, mindful eating, and Dharma sharing.
