Experience the tranquility of the coast with this new collection of light-filled oil paintings by Charleston artist, Lisa Willits.  From beach paths at sunrise to sunsets with a waterfront view, these luminous paintings explore the artist’s favorite scenes.  “When I looked for a common theme to unite this show, I kept coming back to the word ‘harmony’ and the balance that exists between the elements of nature.  I hope these paintings evoke the same sense of wonder and ease that I feel after a walk on the beach.”
An opening reception will be held at the Gallery on Friday, October 4, from 5pm-8pm during the Charleston Gallery Association’s Art Walk.  The artist will be in attendance and light refreshments will be served.  All are welcome at this free event.
