Starting tonight, the lowcountry’s biggest holiday musical production opens at the Charleston Music Hall. With a glittering backdrop of snow covered Christmas trees and decorations, this production is the perfect blend of holiday music, comedy sketches, and dazzling costumes.

Seen by over 10,000 people each year, the Charleston Christmas Special runs Dec. 8-23. Locals and visitors alike have made this a holiday tradition for 22 years.

The live orchestra onstage will be led by James Davis Jr. who has supervised musical productions at Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and The Apollo Theater.  The cast of 12 singers and dancers have performed on Broadway as well as international cruise ships, and they are joined by some of Charleston’s most talented children.
