Join us as the Gibbes hosts its first open mic night! Drawing on the themes of the exhibition Reynier LIanes: Passages and inspired by the storytelling series The Moth, guests who have a three to five-minute story, poem, song, or other performance that explores the topic of “passages”—a rite of passage, a physical migration, or some other crossing—are encouraged to stand and deliver! In addition, the evening will include several hand-picked guest artists as we transform the reception and lecture halls into an afterhours, comedy club-style atmosphere.
Free and open to the public, registration required. From 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Date
July 10, 2024
Location
The Gibbes Museum of Art 155 Meeting Street
Charleston, SC29401
