Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band blend jazz with blues, folk, and gospel to bring a soulful and heartfelt performance that you won't want to miss. Brian Blade's exceptional drumming has made him a 'first call' drummer for artists as diverse as Bill Frisell, Bob Dylan, Joshua Redman, Joni Mitchell, Daniel Lanois, Wayne Shorter and many more.
Nominated 11 times for his own and collaborative music, Blade won four Grammys for his work with Wayne Shorter and Chick Corea. The Fellowship Band 'breathes together' like an organic living thing with tight harmonies that create a rich, immersive musical experience.
We are delighted to include Brian and the Band as the opening concert of the 2024-2025 Arena Concert Series. No alcohol will be sold at this event. The concert is scheduled to end at 8:30PM.
