Book Talk with Natasha Boyd, Author of The Indigo Girl

Join us for a book talk and signing with Natasha Boyd, author of The Indigo Girl. The Indigo Girl is a work of historical fiction that dives into the life of Eliza Lucas Pinckney. Inheriting her father's plantation at age sixteen, Eliza Lucas Pinckney experimented with numerous crops before finding enormous success in the cultivation of indigo, a prized plant used for dying textiles. Natasha Boyd will talk about her novel and the extensive research that went into writing it.

Feel free to bring your own copy to have signed by the author. If you don't already own the book, don't worry! Blue Bicycle Books will be on hand selling copies of The Indigo Girl.
