In collaboration with Bodega Charleston, Off Trach Ice Cream will be releasing Vegan Nutella Babka on Thursday, January 14th as part of our new winter flavor series. For this flavor, Off Track created a Chocolate Hazelnut Vegan ice cream using local Cocoa Academic chocolate and pure hazelnut oil. Bodega Chef, Alec Gropman, developed an amazing Vegan Chocolate Babka which he claims is his grandmother's famous recipe, but we haven't been able to fact check that one. Regardless, it's the best babka we've ever tasted. We fold chunks of this Bodega Babka, so dense with flavor, into our Vegan Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream. Talk about a perfect match.
To celebrate our flavor collab together, we are throwing an ice cream party at Uptown Social (where Bodega is run out of) on Saturday, January 16th from 12pm - 2pm (or while supplies last). We will bring our ice cream cart and offer scoops + pints of our newest flavor, Vegan Nutella Babka. The Bodega team has a few other party surprises up their sleeves including live music by Good Trouble and Bulleit Bourbon milkshakes!
