Join Coastal Expeditions on a special beach drop to the south end of Bulls Island to explore a wild beach where Loggerhead sea turtles nest. On the boat ride to the island, Coastal Expeditions naturalists will share information about Cape Romain NWR and some of the endangered & threatened species it protects.
On the island, you’ll get a glimpse into the program as Capt. Chris leads an interpretive walk down the shoreline. It’s an opportunity to understand the responsibilities of the turtle volunteers who work from dusk to dawn to protect this endangered species.
