Art of Jazz: Iliana Rose

The much-anticipated Art of Jazz Series is where the worlds of art and music come together. In partnership with the Gibbes Museum, this annual three-concert series features original jazz compositions inspired by artwork from the museum’s collection. This unique musical experience has quickly become a fan favorite and tends to sell out fast.

Iliana Rose is a remarkably talented musician whose artistry is deeply influenced by her Cuban heritage. Born in Miami, FL and raised in a household rich in Cuban rhythms and traditions, Iliana’s passion for music began at an early age. After years of rigorous classical and jazz training, she earned performance degrees from the University of Miami and the National Piano Guild. Now a resident of Greenville SC, Iliana is also a distinguished lecturer, guest clinician, and student leadership specialist, and travels across the country, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
