One of Charleston’s most iconic events of the year, the Art of Design luncheon features internationally renowned experts in the world of design, including exquisite home interiors, fashion, gardening and florals, art collecting, and event and party planning. Set against the backdrop of the Gibbes’ classical European-style garden, 350 guests mingle at the beautifully styled, seated luncheon featuring multiple courses prepared by Salthouse Catering, wine pairings, lively conversation, and Instagram-worthy décor. As the Women’s Council’s signature fundraiser, Art of Design has raised $900,000 since its inception over a decade ago to support engaging educational programming and transformative museum exhibitions.
