On the historic banks of the Cooper River lies a spirited oasis known as Charleston
Harbor Resort and Marina, home of the Carolina Billfish Classic. As the third leg of the
legendary South Carolina Governor’s Cup Billfishing Series and a Captain of the Year
Cup qualifier, we offer the best in world class fishing, entertainment, and competitive
camaraderie! Fifty-three boats entered in 2022 and released a tournament record 99
billfish! The CBC is home to the 881.13lb South Carolina Blue Marlin State Record and
the largest billfish tournament ever held in the state.
