Another Day of Fun at Deep Water Vineyard/Bears Bluff Meadery
Join us at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island from 10AM to 5:30PM as we celebrate a new year with our annual Cork Shuckin’ Festival. Old Man Oyster Company will provide oysters by the bucket (market price) but we’ll also have other food trucks for non-oyster lovers; in addition to live local music throughout the day, lawn games for all to enjoy, and wine/mead/beer/wine slushies/hot mulled wine/mimosas/bloody Mary's for your drinking palate. Admission is $10 per car and a portion of proceeds will support local charities. Purchase tickets online on our website at
www.deepwatervineyard.com or on our
Facebook Page @deepwatervines under events.
Bring cash and credit for tastings offered every 45 minutes throughout the day for $15, which
includes a souvenir stemless wine glass. Food trucks onsite will include: Foxes Fried, Braised & Glazed, and A Boy and His Dogs. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy live music provided by Calhoun’s Callingand Krystal Halvorson.
In addition to our swings, swurfer, and all of the vineyard animals; kids will also enjoy slushies and yard games. Local vendors will be selling unique gifts and showcasing their talents as well. We’d love to see you and your family and friends join us; we’re a beautiful 30-minute drive from downtown Charleston through the live oaks of the Sea Islands. About Deep Water Vineyard
Deep Water Vineyard is Charleston’s only vineyard and winery, located on Wadmalaw Island,
30 miles from downtown Charleston. In 2016 Jesse and Andrea Freiwald took over the
established vineyard and have put their own unique touches on this dream location, with new fruit wine, meads, and varietals for all.
