The 11th Palette & Palate Stroll is dedicated to the appreciation of fine art, delicious culinary creations and philanthropy. This year, 11 local galleries will be paired with some of the best downtown restaurants. The event that raises funds for art education will take place on Friday, July 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Charleston, S.C.
The event is truly exciting as our attendees get a chance to take a stroll through the historic cobblestone streets and make stops at local galleries where they can view their latest exhibits, mingle with local artists and chefs and taste their gourmet food tastings. We also give them a chance to discover a piece of art that they fall in love with or a new restaurant. It is very intimate. Chefs typically use local products and produce in season and all galleries prepare something special for the event; either it is a display of new works, painting demonstrations or a VIP reception. This year for the first time, the attendees will be invited to a desert after party at the Vendue, Charleston's first art hotel.
This year's gallery and restaurant pairings are:
Anglin Smith Fine Art - Circa 1886
