The North Charleston Coliseum is a 13,600-seat multi-purpose arena built in 1993 and has recently invested over $21 million dollars in enhancements, including corporate suites and expanded concourse areas. It served as home court for the Southern Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from 2002 -2008 and is excited to now be hosting a collegiate marquee event, the CAA Men’s basketball Championships 2017-2019.
Owned by the City of North Charleston and managed by SMG, the Coliseum is located within the Charleston Convention Center Complex located within two miles of the Charleston International Airport and ten miles from the historic district of Charleston. Within one mile, there is an abundance of restaurant choices and shopping, including the 80+ stores of Tanger Outlets Charleston.
