Waterpark Delight

Ahhh, June in Charleston. Watermelon weather. Blue skies and 86 degrees. Sunlight that lingers past 8 p.m.  And plenty of opportunities to have a splashing good time!

Some of the hottest spots in Charleston—and by hot, we mean cool—are the waterparks. Check it out!

Whirlin’ Waters North Charleston Wannamaker County Park offers more than 15 acres of fun-fun-fun! From wave pools and waterslides to a treehouse with 66 interactive water stations, this sprawling park is full of island-style adventure.

Like to slide? Check out Splash Zone at James Island County Park. A tube slide, an open slide, a giant play structure with a slide… this park is packed with plenty of exciting slipping and sliding action.

A flume! Geyers! Splash Island Mt. Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park is tucked amid lush vegetation and nature trails. Be sure to check out the 50-foot observation tower and see if you can spot an osprey’s nest!

The water is warm. We wish you were here!
