Spring has officially sprung and we’re celebrating #NationalFragranceDay in Charleston! Manicured public parks and glimmers of private gardens have turned Charleston into a botanical wonderland, where the delicate aromas of tea olive trees and Carolina Jessamine vines dance amid the sea breezes. Lingering at any given hour of the day is the welcoming scent of homemade buttermilk biscuits while the mouth-watering aroma of Lowcountry soul food wafts through the air. The scent of the salt marsh promises days full of sunshine on the creek and plates chock-full of fresh seafood. Sigh. If only we could send the sweet scents of our beloved Charleston through the screen.
What are your favorite fragrances in the South? Spring to Charleston to experience all that this budding season has in store.
