Kasey and Nick’s black-tie wedding is what Kiawah Island wedding dreams are made of.  The couple desired an upscale, tropical affair that was both southern and romantic yet also modern and clean.  As the design process evolved, Reagan Events dubbed their style “Casablanca Meets the Hamptons.”   It needed to have a taste of the exotic yet in a very refined, formal, and elegant setting.

Dramatic, lush blooms adorned the ceremony overlooking the river.  Cocktail hour embraced more of the laid-back Hamptons vibe with umbrellas and seagrass lounge grouping, palms, and custom cornhole boards.  Reagan Events used a huge circular bar to anchor the setting, serving the couple’s signature cocktails, the Cucumber Margarita and the Oaxaca Old Fashioned.

The sun set as guests transitioned inside for dinner where Reagan Events turned up the glamor and romance several notches.  The tables were set with abundant flower arrangements, reflective and metallic candlelight, and a variety of white patterned linens.  The newlywed’s table was framed by a dramatic climbing floral display on the mantel.

One of the couple’s favorite moments was the choreographed introductions of the wedding party.  The DJ/band combo, Re-Drum, created a high-energy atmosphere to the couple’s song “Kill the Lights,” cutting the lights on cue for the bride and groom’s big moment.  Everyone was out of their seats and on the dance floor – the rest is history!
