Healthy Eating Guide to Charleston

A new year means new resolutions, and when those resolutions involve energizing avocado toast and refreshing green juice, we’re all aboard! Scroll on to check out our favorite spots for healthy eats in Charleston including The Park Cafe, Whisk Coffee & Juice Bar, The Daily, Verde, Caviar & Bananas, Butcher & Bee, BeechBlack Bean Company, and Bull Street Gourmet and Market.

The Park Cafe celebrates Charleston’s beautiful Hampton Park with a seasonal menu including items such as avocado toast, farm egg vegetable soup and shredded kale salad.

Kick your morning off on the right foot with house-made granola or fresh squeezed juice at Whisk. The Green Peace (celery, spinach, kale, lime, green apple, parsley and cucumber) keeps us motivated all day long!

The Daily, sister to Charleston’s craft sandwich shop Butcher & Bee, is our go-to for cold-pressed juices and nourishing grab-and-go provisions.

Toss ’em, chop ’em, or wrap ’em! Verde’s imaginative salads and wraps provide wholesome meals that keep you feeling satisfied and at your very best.

From the ordinary to the extraordinary, Caviar & Bananas offers an epicurean experience to excite the senses. This upscale specialty food destination features gourmet prepared foods, sandwiches, salads, sushi, charcuterie, an espresso bar and more!

Butcher & Bee offers a rotating menu of innovative, seasonal cuisines prepared with local ingredients. Try the hummus! Israeli born owner Michael Shemtov serves an incredible version of this dish along with house made pita.

Family-run eatery Beech serves a wide variety of health conscious bites, from Ahi Tuna Poke bowls and Black Bean Hummus wraps to Almond Butter Acai bowls and Guava Jam bagels.
