Someone pinch us! Have we boarded a plane to the Italian countryside or are we still in our own dreamy destination of Charleston? Raleigh residents Bryn and Alan brought elements of Tuscany to the Lowcountry with this springtime, sunflower-filled fête that is the ultimate rustic wedding inspiration.

Though the charm of Charleston lingers year-round, along with spring comes an additional burst of beauty in the Holy City. Window boxes are spilling over with blooms, ivy is tiptoeing its way toward the sun, and trees are boasting their most lovely buds.

Sweeping Spanish moss-covered oak trees, delicately draping lavender wisteria vines, beautifully preserved plantations – Charleston is awash in picturesque locales. One such lovely spot is Middleton Place, a true Charleston treasure that dates back to the 17th century.

Guests lucky enough to score a seat to Charleston’s sold-out, eighth annual Spring Bridal Show were transported to a whimsical world of beautiful blooms and belles. The luxe affair showcased dazzling gowns and attracted a glittering crowd of national talent.
