April Travel Guide to Charleston

April Travel Guide to Charleston

This April, we’re exploring beyond the garden gate during the Annual Festival of Houses & Gardens, finding motivation on the tennis courts at the Volvo Car Open, and kayaking alongside water-enthusiasts at the Charleston Outdoor Fest. We’re celebrating the South’s favorite food groups (bourbon and bacon) at Circa 1886, ordering fresh spring dishes at our favorite Lowcountry locales, and diving into soft-shell crab, a tasty, short-season delicacy in Charleston. With our appetites and taste buds satisfied, we’re heading to the Flowertown Festival to witness Azalea Park awash in vibrant color, covered in hot pink azaleas and lavender wisteria, taking in the grandeur of design at the Kiawah Island House and Art Tour, and savoring seafood samplings at the Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival. Join us as we celebrate spring in the South!
