Culinary Institute of Charleston (CIC)
CIC provides associate degrees, certificates and advanced certificates in culinary arts, baking and pastry and hospitality/tourism. Two campuses boast integrated multimedia technology, high-tech teaching kitchens, an artisanal baking lab, a beverage operations lab, two broadcast amphitheater demonstration kitchens and two student-operated dining rooms.
The College of Charleston
Founded in 1770, the first municipal college in America was built in 1724 on land set aside for educational purposes. The present main building was designed by eminent Philadelphia architect William Strickland, built in 1828, and paid for by voluntary subscription by the people of Charleston.
Trident Technical College
