All Things Local Package Stay, eat, and drink local to Charleston Stay at the locally owned and operated Francis Marion Hotel. Named for General Francis Marion, the “Swamp Fox” of the American Revolution, the hotel was originally built by local investors and opened in 1924 as the largest and grandest in the Carolinas. Meticulously restored, the Francis Marion combines 1920's style and grace with modern comfort and conveniences for today’s sophisticated traveler all within steps of some of the cities best boutiques, historic landmarks and great eateries. Our All Things Local Package includes our Farmers Market Dinner. Chef Steve Klatt expertly combines farm fresh sustainable ingredients showcasing Charleston’s locally supplied produce and meats (many of which are available at the historic Charleston’s Farmers Market on Saturdays in Marion Square). Also, enjoy a Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka Martini. From muscadine grapes grown right on property at Irvin House Vineyards to real tea grown at Charleston Tea Plantation, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka is crafted with real, local ingredients only a few miles outside of town.

Swamp Fox Restaurant hours for dinner is 5:00pm until 10:00pm. Reservations are encouraged. The menu will change monthly and is based on the season’s finest and freshest ingredients.
