Wine To Water at Social Restaurant + Wine Bar

Support a great cause on Feb 3rd, 2010 from 6 to 9PM at Social Restaurant +Wine Bar….
Charleston’s own local artists, photographers, boutiques, designers, and performers will all contribute to a soiree at Social Restaurant + Wine Bar to benefit the non-profit organization, Wine to Water. The soiree will take place at Social Restaurant + Wine Bar on February 3, 2010 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. SCOOP studies artist’s Ben Timpson, Christopher Murphy, Stewart Young, Cyle Suesz, Julio Cotto, and Scott Debus, along with other artists such as Nathan Durfee will display pieces throughout Social. In addition, photography pieces by Rich Dean, Jeremy Collier Higgs, Tim Zienlenbach, and Andrew Cebulka will also be on display. The evening promises to be filled with other visual arts. Local boutiques Eden Boheme, Cose Belle, and Cavortress will showcase some of their winter collection throughout the evening.
Guests will also have a chance to explore the upstairs Pop-Up-Shop and purchase both art pieces and various showcased boutique items including The Kenneth Beatrice collection. The tunes that evening will be flowing by CMNDer and the local Afro-Latino dance group Buen Ache will do a live performance. Tickets are $20 and include wine and appetizers. Wine to Water is focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. Funds raised by Wine to Water events have helped provide clean water and sanitation to in many countries including Sudan, India, Cambodia, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Haiti.
