A new Vietnam Experience exhibit will open on November 8, 2014 at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. This new “living history” exhibit will feature a U.S. Marine Corps Artillery Firebase and a “Brown Water Navy” Support Base.
Interactive equipment will include: two Bell UH-1 “Huey” helicopters, 105mm Howitzer, a Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter, Willys m725 ambulance, a Sikorsky UH-34 Sea Horse Helicopter and a very rare MK1 PBR (Patrol River Boat). Re-enactors and Vietnam veterans will frequently be featured to enhance the experience.
