This year, we draw from circuses of the past as the Museum transforms into a vintage Big Top including exciting carnival games, delectable circus-inspired fare, refreshing libations and spectacular silent and live auction items. Sounds of music and gasps from the audience can be heard as circus performers provide entertainment late into the evening. Join us as we fly high and raise funds to support the mission of the Museum.
Like children's museums throughout the world, the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry exists to support the very simple, but profound truth that young children learn through play. Play is essential to development because it contributes to a child's cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being. Come play with us as we raise money to provide FREE scholarships, Museum admissions, educational day camps and programming to under-served and special needs children and their families. Last year's event raised more than $105,000 in one night. In 2012, we hope to surpass that number and raise $125,000.
