The Friends and Needed Supporters (FANS) of the Charleston Museum will host their Annual Family Picnic on Sunday, October 27, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Lowcountry picnic features fried chicken, ham, mac and cheese, hot dogs, lemonade, wine, beer and more from the Marina Variety Store.
The entire family will enjoy a nature walk and butterfly release with naturalist Billy McCord, flight demonstrations by Birds of Prey and the SCDNR Touch Tank. Children's activities include hayrides, face painting and games. Local musician, Bob Becker, will play guitar favorites.
Tickets (all-inclusive) are $20/adult, $10/child and free for children 5 and under. Advance reservations are required; please call 843.722.2996 ext. 235 or register online through the calendar of events at www.charlestonmuseum.org. Please, no pets or outside coolers.
