The Charleston Museum's 241st Birthday Oyster Roast

The Charleston Museum is celebrating its 241st birthday with an Oyster Roast on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

It will be held at the museum's wildlife sanctuary, the Dill Sanctuary, on James Island. The event will feature oysters by Ben Moise, a curator-led history walk, live bluegrass by the Blue Plantation Band and spectacular views of the Stono River. Tickets are $35/member and $50/non-member and include all-you-can-eat oysters with fixings, chili, open bar and the guided walk along the river.
