Join the Charleston Museum's Melanie Wilson for a beginner level weaving workshop! Melanie will explain the basic parts of the loom and demonstrate how to warp the loom to yield different patterns. Students will experience weaving on the Museum's four-harness loom and tabletop loom during the class, as well as a hand loom to keep. We will take a break from weaving with a mini-tour of woven items from the Museum's collection. All materials supplied.
