Susan G. Komen of the Lowcountry and the friends and family of Vicki Hollingsworth invite you to participate in the Komen Lowcountry Swing for the Cure® on Sunday, October 26th at the Wild Dunes Resort.

Susan G. Komen Lowcountry Swing for the Cure is a tennis and golf fundraising event supporting the fight against breast cancer. Event participants can choose to play in either a team tennis event or an 18 hole scramble golf tournament followed by a cocktail reception which will include a silent auction.

Swing for the Cure is grateful and honored to once again have the support of the Friends and Family of Vicki Hollingsworth as the event’s presenting sponsor.

In April of 2010, Vicki Hollingsworth lost a stoic battle with breast cancer. She was a long time resident of Isle of Palms who proudly called Wild Dunes her home. Vicki was regarded as a successful businesswoman and an active member in the community, but first and foremost, Vicki was a caring wife, a mother and a grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. It is in recognition of that love and in memory of Vicki’s legacy that the Hollingsworth family has generously agreed to partner with Swing for the Cure to raise money and find the cures. We are very grateful for their support and so honored to have this opportunity to pay tribute to Vicki Hollingsworth and her magnanimous spirit.
